Notes & markdown

Notes are the building blocks of an entry. Each note has a title and markdown content you can edit over time.

Create a note

  1. Open a knowledge entry.
  2. Click "Add note".
  3. Fill in a note title and write content in markdown, then click "Add".

Edit a note

  • Click the edit (pencil) button on a note.
  • Update the note title or content.
  • Click "Update" to save changes.

Delete a note

  • Click the trash button on a note to remove it.
  • Deleting a note updates the entry immediately.

Markdown tips

  • Use headings (e.g., "##") to structure longer notes.
  • Use bullet lists for checklists and action items.
  • Add code blocks for snippets you want to copy later.

Saving behavior

Edits are saved when you click the Add/Update buttons, and some actions (like deleting a note) trigger an automatic save for the entry.

Show more / show less

Long notes may be truncated in the list view. Use "Show more" to expand and read the full content.
