Notes & markdown
Notes are the building blocks of an entry. Each note has a title and markdown content you can edit over time.
Create a note
- Open a knowledge entry.
- Click "Add note".
- Fill in a note title and write content in markdown, then click "Add".
Edit a note
- Click the edit (pencil) button on a note.
- Update the note title or content.
- Click "Update" to save changes.
Delete a note
- Click the trash button on a note to remove it.
- Deleting a note updates the entry immediately.
Markdown tips
- Use headings (e.g., "##") to structure longer notes.
- Use bullet lists for checklists and action items.
- Add code blocks for snippets you want to copy later.
Saving behavior
Edits are saved when you click the Add/Update buttons, and some actions (like deleting a note) trigger an automatic save for the entry.
Show more / show less
Long notes may be truncated in the list view. Use "Show more" to expand and read the full content.
