Getting started
This page covers the minimum steps inside AI Bucket. If you still need to create a Meta app, configure the webhook, and generate a Page access token, start with the Meta app page next.
5-step quickstart
- Prepare Meta setup values Read Meta app → Webhook → Access token pages first, then prepare your webhook, Page access token, and page_id.
- Open Facebook Bots Go to AI Bucket and open the Facebook Bots app.
- Create a bot Click create and fill in page_id and access_token. Then optionally set system_prompt and attach AI Knowledge Base entries.
- Attach knowledge + prompt Use AI Knowledge Base for FAQs and policies; keep the system prompt focused on tone, formatting, and handoff rules.
- Test and verify Send a test message to your Page and confirm the conversation appears in Omni-Chats and the bot can reply.
Tips
- Paste the raw access token value only (do not include a leading “Bearer ”).
- If the token expires or permissions change, update it in AI Bucket and refresh the bot.
- Start with a small knowledge scope; expand after you confirm responses are accurate.
After launch, check
Omni-Chats conversations
New Facebook messages should show up quickly as a conversation so your team can monitor and take over.
Knowledge quality
If answers are off, improve AI Knowledge Base content (FAQs, policies, examples) before adding more prompt complexity.
