Deep research mode
Deep research explores more sources and synthesizes a longer answer. It may take 5–10 minutes or more depending on scope.
What it does
- Searches across more sources and aggregates evidence.
- Produces deeper synthesis and structured reasoning.
- Includes citations you can inspect in the References panel.
What to expect
- Longer runtime for broader scopes.
- Higher cost than Search mode for complex tasks.
- Better for multi-step questions and decision memos.
How to prompt Deep research
Be explicit about scope, required sections, and decision criteria.
